Two consumer formats that sell themselves on convenience — what to decide on base, sugar, actives and packing before you brief a private-label run of gummies or effervescent tablets.

Gummies and effervescent tablets win shelf space for the same reason: people actually take them. A capsule gets forgotten; a chewable sweet or a fizzing glass of orange does not. Both run as private-label or OEM, both are project-based on MOQ, and both reward a buyer who fixes the awkward decisions — base, sugar, actives, packing — before the brief lands rather than after the first trial batch.

Gummies: pick your base first

The base decision shapes everything downstream. Pectin is plant-derived and lets you market a vegan gummy; gelatin gives a firmer, springier bite that some categories still prefer. From there you choose your sugar position — full sugar, reduced-sugar or sugar-free — and your colour and flavour system, which we keep to natural sources where the recipe allows. Gummies suit adherence-led ranges: beauty (collagen, biotin), kids' multivitamins, and gentle single actives.

  • Base: pectin (vegan) or gelatin
  • Sugar: full sugar, reduced-sugar or sugar-free
  • Flavours and colours: natural where the formula permits
  • Actives: vitamins, collagen, ashwagandha, melatonin where permitted in your market

A word of caution on dose and actives

A gummy is a small carrier, so dose per piece is genuinely limited — you cannot fold a high-gram active into one sweet without it tasting of medicine or needing several pieces a day. Heat-sensitive and oxidation-prone actives also lose potency over shelf life, so we plan overages and stability around the real number, not the label number. Melatonin and similar actives are permitted in some markets and restricted in others; confirm the rule for your destination before we lock the formula.

Effervescent tablets: the fast-dissolving format

Effervescent tablets drop into water and become a drink — popular for hydration, immunity and straight vitamin C. Sugar-free builds are common here because the format already carries flavour and acidity well. The catch is moisture: the effervescent reaction is triggered by water, so these tablets live or die on packing. We pack in tubes with a desiccant cap, and the line runs in controlled humidity to keep the granules from reacting before they reach the glass.

How we run it

We don't own a plant — manufacturing is at audited GMP partner facilities, with a CoA issued per batch. Both formats are fully private-label: custom strength, flavour and branding, with MOQ set per project. Tell us your market early so vegan, halal or sugar-free requirements are designed in from the start. We do not make syrups or liquids; these are the two formats we point liquid-curious buyers towards instead.

Tip: Brief the destination market and your active doses before the first trial. Dose figures and stability behaviour are indicative and confirmed on the CoA per batch; finished-product and health claims remain the buyer's responsibility under local regulation.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a full design-to-doorstep service?

It can be. Beyond making the gummies or effervescent, we cover label and pack design, branding, export documentation and — on DAP terms — delivery to your warehouse, all through a single point of contact. Manufacturing and testing run at the audited GMP partner facility under our oversight, and import duties and taxes remain your account.

Can you do vegan gummies, and what about sugar?

Yes — pectin-based gummies for a vegan line or gelatin-based where preferred, in sugar, reduced-sugar or sugar-free versions. Custom actives can be loaded, though dose per piece is limited by gummy size, so high-dose actives may suit tablets instead.

Why are effervescent tablets packed the way they are?

Effervescent is moisture-sensitive, so it is packed in tubes with a desiccant cap to protect stability, and we typically run it sugar-free. Storage and shelf-life depend on respecting that moisture protection.

What is the MOQ for private-label gummies or effervescent?

MOQ is project-based and depends on format, flavour and actives; we keep it workable for new brands and confirm the figure once the spec is set. A pilot batch is run before the full order.

Can you meet market rules like halal, vegan or melatonin limits?

We can build to market-specific rules — vegan (pectin) or halal status and restrictions such as melatonin where permitted — but final compliance and claims in your market are your responsibility. We supply the product and supporting documentation, not the regulatory sign-off.
